Learn a raw edge applique technique including how to use fusible web in your projects. Make a charming butterfly pincushion project by Edyta Sitar. It uses zigzag, blanket or satin stitches to anchor applique pieces. A second technique called “Clean Edge Technique” using muslin/scrap fabric to conceal raw edges will also be done. Your sewing machine needs to have a zigzag and/or blanket stitch and you need to know how to sew using your machine for this class.
